Full-Time MBA, Full-Time MBA with Co-op and Accelerated MBA Programs

Step 1:	Join our Microsoft (MS) Team communication platform The DeGroote MBA School of Business Incoming MBA Class – Fall 2024 MS Teams is a centralized platform where all DeGroote MBA Incoming Students in either MBA, MBA with Co-op, & Accelerated MBA programs can connect and engage with each other, the MBA Student Experience Recruitment and Admissions Team and your DeGroote MBA Student Ambassadors. You will also be able to stay up to date on upcoming events and important information and ask questions as you embark on your MBA journey.   Each channel within this MS Team will have a different topic to which you can ask or answer questions related to the specific topic. You can also expect answers from other incoming MBA students, DeGroote Student Ambassadors, or members of the MBA Recruitment and Admissions Team.   You will be able to join this MS Team as Guest User. You will be sent an invitation to join the MS team. Once you accept, if you do not have a Microsoft account already associated with the email you are using, you will be asked to create one. Please follow these instructions. If you already have one, you can follow these steps. If you’ve received an offer but have not yet received an email invitation to join the Teams group, please contact your Onboarding Officer, Chandani Sheth. If you are using a University-based email account, you will not receive an invitation. Instead, follow these instructions.    Watch a Teams tutorial.
Step 2:	Introduce Yourself Look under the “Introductions” Channel in MS Teams and answer the questions that Chandani, your Onboarding Officer, has asked. Read answers from your fellow incoming MBA students too.
Step 3:	Connect with your incoming cohort. Record a short video of yourself from the country you are currently living in. Share something interesting from that country and explain why it is interesting – could be you with a famous landmark, your favourite dish from a restaurant, your special spot, anything! Upload your video on our MS team* group under the “DeGroote Around The World” Channel Watch videos of your classmates and get to know them better! *If you are having any trouble joining the MS team group, please reach out to your Onboarding Officer, Chandani Sheth.
Step 4:	Register for upcoming events in the Events Channel View past webinars and read past newsletters in the General Channel

Blended Learning Part-Time MBA Program

Step 1:	Join our LinkedIn Page DeGroote Blended Learning Part-Time MBA Class of 2027
Step 2:	Introduce Yourself Post a short video of yourself answering the following questions: What made you decide to do an MBA program? What is your dream job (or career goal)? What do you like to do in your spare time (not working or education related)? Read answers from your fellow incoming MBA students and feel free to engage with them by asking follow-up questions or commenting on things that you find interesting.
